All things I wanted in a leash: strong rope for the give and ability to make knot handholds, a nice nylon handle for wrapping around my thumb while holding in my hand, auto-locking carabiner. High quality materials, good weight in the hand. It's like the Ruffwear Knot-a-leash but better looking and more color choices. Two improvements that'd make it perfect (for me): a reflective options for the rope, and a small D-ring on the handle for hooking bags/key/etc.
