Received my 2nd leash from Tuenne and I’m even more satisfied with it than the first. GREAT customer service with questions I had before buying this one and as I’ve come to expect, the quality exceeds anything I’ve found elsewhere. I bought the 5’ Matterhorn which has a rope handle instead of webbing and makes it much easier to clip into the ‘biner I have on the roll bar of my Jeep. Great colors too. No reason to look elsewhere.
Great leash. Really like it.
Works great and durable. The description gave me the impression that this might be overkill for my 20 pound dachshund. But that is not the case at all. I also like the security of the locking carabiner.
I wanted so badly to love this leash. It is very nice looking and good quality however in humid Florida the material of the rope gets very slippery and it’s actually hard to hold onto. If you live in a humid climate I don’t recommend. Also, the Matterhorn handle is quite large and uncomfortable to hold onto compounding the problem.
I bought the Matterhorn leash with the aquamarine rope and pink anodized carabiner for my girl Sandy -- a 115 lbs American Bulldog. Security was my main concern as Sandy has dog aggression issues when she's on a lead. She also has a habit of shaking her head at supersonic speeds which -- on rare occasions -- somehow manages to disconnect a snap hook from her collar. That just can't happen with this dog, so the screw-down carabiner was the main thing that attracted me to Tuenne.
I was concerned that the carabiner might be too wide to fit the small ring on Sandy's Gentle Leader head leash, but it actually fits just fine. The rope is very sturdy and attractive as well. I didn't give a lot of thought to the leash's ball swivel before purchasing, but in practice it turns out to be a great feature that eleiminates twisting. Every leash should have one!
Great job, Tuene. Great looks, superior craftsmanship, and most of all -- security.
