Mammut™ Pink Zen Dry Rope Leash 9.5mm

Regular price $0.00 $41.00 Sale

This rope leash is totally bombproof! It uses 9.8mm Dynamic climbing rope, a bunch of machined aluminum and steel parts, tightly woven Polyester Sublimated Handle with Topographic Print and forged screw-gate locking carabiner.

Rope is 9.5mm thick

Please also note that we developed a uni-ball swivel consisting of coated steel cable swaged into an aluminum ball.  This allows our carabiner to swivel thus preventing the rope from torquing.

We have 3 patents on this baby!

LENGTH: MEASUREMENT IS TAKEN FROM END TO END INCLUDING THE LENGTH OF THE HANDLE AND CARABINER.

ALL OF TUENNE’S LEASHES COME WITH LOCKING CARABINERS.  YOU MUST LOCK YOUR CARABINER TO ENSURE COMPLETE SAFETY

ATTN: TUENNE LEASHES ARE NEVER TO BE USED IN A "TIE-OUT" FASHION. PLEASE DON'T ANCHOR YOUR DOG TO A STATIONARY OBJECT USING OUR LEASHES.

Mammut Dry Ropes have unparalleled water repellency and durability thanks to their proprietary dry treatment of the rope's sheath and core. This makes them a fantastic choice for a rugged winter (and year-round) leash, for the same reason elite climbers and mountaineers prefer Mammut dry ropes worldwide. With snow, sleet and rain, normal ropes get (and stay) wet, dirty, smelly, moldy, or even frozen. Mammut Dry Ropes only absorb roughly 1% of their weight in water after being soaked for 15 minutes, making them incredibly impervious to the elements. They repel dirt and water, staying nice and clean and providing substantially improved durability compared to a Classic rope.
Unlike other brands, Mammut dry ropes still handle like a normal rope, and they use BlueSign-certified sustainable materials.

Mammut Pink Zen Dry Rope Leash 9.5mm

I love this leash! I wanted something durable but light, and this is perfect. The dry treatment on the rope keeps it from becoming waterlogged if we get stuck in the rain, and the colors are so bright it’s like it was made for the woods. Plus, the locking biner for the collar was the cherry on top!

Best leash I’ve owned!

So I’ve waited to write to review until I tested it out in all aspects of my dogs life. It’s a long review, but it’ll be well worth the read.

To start the swivel system that Tuenne created is absolute brilliant! The leash never get tangled/wrapped and always feels like it should.

As far as toughness goes this leash does not disappoint. I have an Aussie who like to pull, he also pulls me on my longboard and when it consistently snaps the leash when he gets a burst of energy and it’s stays incredibly sturdy.

I was a little concerned about buying this leash when he was a puppy but man am I glad I did. It seemed too durable for a puppy but what you need to consider is the sharp dagger like teeth a puppy has and their uncanny ability to grab it. The leash has never frayed. Not once!

What I was most excited about was taking the leash with me in the backcountry when I went split-boarding. It’s easy to fit in your pocket but I decided to ride up with it wrapped around my wrist. It made for easy access and I was able to loop it through my pole handle so I could drop it to give Milo treats or access a pocket if need be.

Overall, this is hands down the best leash I’ve ever owned. You won’t find one that’s better.

Top notch quality & design

I am very impressed with the quality and design of this leash. It is a great looking leash. The quality of this leash is far superior to mass produced leashes that you see in stores. I have owned many climbing rope leashes, but this is the first one that has a carabiner that can freely rotate which makes a big difference. It solves an issue I have always had with the Ruffwear Knot-A-Leash. Time will tell about how durable the connections from rope to the handle and carabiner will be, but it looks very solid. The only change I would make is to add padding to the handle similar to the ruffwear knot-A-leash handle and add a metal ring or make the handle slightly longer so that there is room to add an area to the handle dedicated to attaching a poop bag holder or small carabiner to attach keys, poop bag holder etc, to the leash.
